Pure Good
Ranch-made in Oklahoma · 100% grass-fed & finished tallow
About Pure Good
Pure Good began as a homeschool project. Caitlin Henderson's three kids picked tallow as their topic, and the family turned it into a business. The tallow comes from grass-fed cattle the Hendersons raise on their sixth-generation Oklahoma ranch, and the company still runs out of the same small town where it started.
How it's made
- Suet tallow only: 100% grass-fed and finished suet, the fat around the kidneys.
- Made by hand on the ranch: from rendering the fat to packing and shipping.
- No synthetic fragrances, dyes or fillers, packed in glass jars.
- Tallow sticks combine tallow with organic beeswax in a roll-up tube for on-the-go use.
FAQ
Is tallow balm good for sensitive skin?
Pure Good suggests starting with its fragrance-free Pure blend for reactive skin, and doing a small patch test first, especially for babies.
Why does my balm look grainy?
Usually heat. Tallow can melt and re-solidify in high temperatures. Store it somewhere cool and out of direct sun.
What's the difference between the balm and the stick?
The balm is a jar you scoop from; the stick adds beeswax so it holds its shape in a twist-up tube.
