About The Local Branch

The Local Branch is the work of maker duo Blaine and Mackenzie, who started the business in 2009 out of an Airstream trailer. Their path took them across the country before they came back to their New York roots and opened a shop on Jordan Street in Skaneateles, in the Finger Lakes. The leather goods are made in their workshop at the homestead, a few miles from the store, and the shop also stocks work from other USA makers.

How they're made

  • Leather and canvas goods made by hand in small batches
  • Belts cut from 100% top grain leather and finished with antique brass hardware
  • Made in Upstate New York
  • Custom sizing available from the workshop
