Recycled Firefighter
Made in the USA · Upcycled fire hose & combat boot leather
About Recycled Firefighter
Recycled Firefighter started as a small operation making wallets from decommissioned fire hoses, with the founder, Jake, sewing them on an old industrial sewing machine. Today the workshop has repurposed tens of thousands of feet of retired fire hose collected from departments around the U.S., and keeps a few thousand pounds of it on hand at any time.
What makes these wallets different
- Real fire hose. The Firehose Edition is built from hose that has been taken out of service, so every wallet has its own wear, color and character.
- Salvaged combat boot leather. Some editions use full-grain U.S. military boot leather that was rejected for cosmetic marks, not quality.
- Built for front-pocket carry. Slim, minimalist designs with mil-spec nylon thread, ribbon and elastic.
