A wooden board that gets washed often will eventually look pale and dry. This wax puts a protective layer back on. Refine Kitchenware makes it by hand from four organic ingredients, and it works on cutting boards, butcher blocks, serving boards and wooden spoons.
Ingredients
- Organic fractionated coconut oil
- Organic beeswax
- Organic rosemary essential oil
- Organic lemon essential oil
How to use it
- Start with a clean, completely dry board.
- Apply the wax with a microfiber cloth or paper towel.
- Work it generously over the whole board in a circular motion.
- For best results, repeat after each use.

What can I use it on?
Any bare or oiled wood that touches food, including cutting boards, butcher blocks, charcuterie boards, wooden spoons and utensils.
How often should I apply it?
The maker recommends a coat after each use for best results. At a minimum, reapply whenever the wood starts to look dull or dry.
Does it smell?
It contains rosemary and lemon essential oils, so expect a light herbal, citrus scent.
