D'ondra builds each of these boards by hand in her Sacramento workshop. They are thick, solid hardwood boards for everyday chopping and slicing, and they look good enough to carry straight to the table with cheese, charcuterie or appetizers.

The wood depends on what is in the shop at the time, usually walnut, maple or cherry, so the grain and color vary from board to board. Each one gets a smooth, food-safe finish that is gentle on knife edges, along with rounded corners and easy-grip sides.

Is the board food-safe?

Yes. It is finished with a food-safe finish and built for everyday kitchen prep.

Can I choose the wood?
